Meeting my new friends. Women. Strong. Bold. Courageous. Ordinary. Extraordinary. Preaching the Word.
Mostly….Glorifying the good, good Father through the Spirit and the Savior’s work in their lives.
The testimonies the Lord writes is astounding. He’s alive.

What a true joy to meet each of you at @bravecharleston. Thanks @jessaconnolly and team for putting on the event and the worship. Thank you @racheljwelcher , editor extraordinaire and new (wait…can I say best?!) friend 😍 for the invitation and for introducing me to the incredible women authors with Baker.

I understand the fear. We want our kids safe. And bathroom safety matters.

But sometimes we become so focused on the scary thing we can imagine happening that we lose sight of the risks our kids are actually encountering.

We can teach safety without teaching fear.

The goal is to raise kids who know how to navigate the world safely.

And that’s why I care so much about giving kids the tools and wisdom.

Don’t mind all the kid noises and scene changes due to following my child around…🤪

Anyways — the woman in this video is teaching half-truths in order to sell her makeup products. Just a friendly reminder to be discerning and careful about what we teach our girls about their beauty 🫶

Remember to make room for the questions.

Your son may not sit down and announce: Mom, I have a question about puberty.

Questions may come in the car. At bedtime. While you're cooking. In the store.

Be ready for random moments.

Have I taught my child what consent is? Have I taught them to protect the vulnerable?

Puberty isn't just about teaching your son what hi

Puberty isn't just about teaching your son what his body is doing.

It's an opportunity to teach him that:
His body isn't shameful.
Sexuality isn't something to fear.
Other people deserve respect.
He is responsible for his choices.
And he can always come to you.

That's sex education, too.

A little before the change.
A little during the change.
And a whole lot of grace along the way.

Don't wait until they're teenagers to start talking about sexuality. Sex education starts long before sex.

It starts with teaching children that their bodies are good, that God made them, that boundaries matter, that people deserve dignity, and that they can always come to you.

You don't need one big “talk.”

You need hundreds of small conversations.

Start now and let them grow with your child.

We just recently had our ONE THOUSANDTH CUSTOMER here at Sex Ed Reclaimed 🥳

Since starting this business 5 years ago, we’ve been able to reach families all over the globe - all 50 US states as well as 15+ different countries. How incredible is that!? God is so good!

Thank you for being here. Thank you for teaching your kids the truth about sex, and for supporting SER as we work to flip the script on Sex Ed.

This acronym is a super helpful tool for your child to keep under their belt. Because as much as we would love to protect them and shield them from anything bad, it's just not realistic.

Instead, let's prepare them to handle these situations in a healthy way.

You don't have to have the perfect answer.

You just have to be willing.

A simple question is a way for God to allow you to speak truth, build trust, and shape your child's understanding of sex and sexuality.

Have you seen this clip going around? It’s from 2 years ago, but keep in mind that this kind of talk is coming from the US secretary of transportation. This is not what we want our kids to hear and learn from our political leaders.

Instead, let’s teach them healthy sex ed while they’re young, so that our future leaders have a better handle of sexual topics.
